Candy Delivery and Popcorn Shipping, Anywhere in the 50 States

Candy delivery and popcorn shipping from our shop start with one call: 605-340-0470.

That's not a limitation we're apologizing for. A checkout page can't tell you that the Orange Cheddar came out of the kettle an hour ago, or that huckleberry just came back in, or that if you're sending twelve tins to twelve addresses we should probably talk about it for two minutes rather than have you type twelve addresses into a form. So we do it on the phone.

The whole process: call and tell us roughly what you want (or the occasion and a budget and we'll build it), pick flavors from all 40-plus, give us the address, the date it needs to land and any gift message, and we take payment over the phone. Then we pop, bag and ship — bagged the day it goes out. If calling is awkward, message us on Facebook and we'll call you back.

What to have ready before you call

Nothing complicated, but having these makes it a three-minute call instead of two calls:

  • Flavors and quantities, or the occasion and a budget if you'd rather we pick.
  • Where it's going — full address, and whether it's a house, an office, or a dorm-type address where packages get held.
  • When it needs to land. Not when you want it shipped; when it needs to be in someone's hands.
  • Gift message wording, if it's a gift.
  • For corporate orders: your recipient list, and your logo file if you want it on the bag labels, gift tags or ribbon.
  • For fundraisers: your group, your timeline, and roughly how many sellers. Fundraisers run on an order-form model with no upfront cost.

How much notice we need

Small orders — a few bags, a tin. Usually quick. Call and we'll tell you the honest date.

Large and bulk orders — about a week. If you want thirty tins, a party-box run for an office, or a case order, give us about a week's notice. We pop in small batches, which is the whole point, and small batches don't compress.

Holidays — more than a week. November and December are the busiest stretch of our year and the calendar fills. Order earlier than feels necessary. If you're planning corporate gifts for December, calling in October is not too early, and by early December we may be booked.

Custom logo work adds time. Labels, tags and ribbon with your branding need lead time on top of the popcorn — call and we'll tell you how much for your order.

Free local pickup in Spearfish

If you're local or passing through, order ahead and pick it up. Pickup is free — no fee, no minimum.

Call 605-340-0470, tell us what you want and when you're coming, and we'll have it bagged and waiting at 714 N. Main St. Suite B. This is the right call if:

  • You want a large amount and don't want to clean out the bins in person.
  • You want a specific flavor and want to guarantee it's there.
  • You're on a schedule — driving through between Spearfish Canyon and Deadwood, or working around rally traffic.
  • You want a gift tin or basket assembled before you arrive.

Hours for pickup are the shop's hours, which are posted on our Google Business Profile and Facebook page.

We ship popcorn and candy nationwide, to all 50 states

We ship to all 50 states. Family in Florida, a client in Maine, a kid at school in Oregon — all fine.

Popcorn is bagged the day it ships. We don't pull from a shelf of pre-bagged inventory. Your order gets bagged the morning it goes out, which is the single biggest thing that determines how it tastes on arrival.

Gift orders go out clean. We include your gift message and we never put an invoice or a price in the box. The recipient sees popcorn and a note from you, not a receipt.

Multiple addresses, one invoice. For corporate gifting we'll drop-ship to a whole recipient list and bill you once. Logo on the labels, tags and ribbon if you want it.

Shipping cost and transit time depend on the size of the box and where it's headed — call 605-340-0470 and we'll quote both while you're on the phone, and if you have a hard delivery date we'll work backward from it.

How to keep it fresh when it gets there

Cheddar and savory flavors are best within a week. Orange Cheddar, White Cheddar, Mac 'N Cheese, Parmesan Garlic, Salt & Vinegar, Dill Pickle, the whole spiced side. Cheese coatings go quiet with time. Eat those first.

Caramel holds a couple of weeks. Caramel, Sea Salted Caramel, Caramel Apple, Chicago Style, and the chocolate flavors have more give. Chicago Style is half cheddar, so treat it like the cheddar timeline.

Store it sealed, at room temperature. Roll the bag down tight or move it to an airtight container. A cupboard is perfect.

Never refrigerate it. The fridge is the fastest way to ruin popcorn — the moisture in there turns crisp popcorn chewy. Same for the freezer. If someone in your house is a habitual fridge-putter, hide it.

Candy is more forgiving. Keep chocolate novelties and anything chocolate-coated out of direct sun and off a hot dashboard, and keep taffy somewhere cool so it doesn't fuse into one large taffy.

What we can't do, and when

We'd rather tell you up front:

  • Hot-weather months are hard on chocolate. Anything chocolate-coated is at risk in a summer truck — mention it on the call and we'll tell you honestly whether to ship it or swap to caramel.
  • Seasonal flavors run out. Huckleberry is a summer flavor and pumpkin spice is a fall flavor. When they're gone they're gone. Call and ask before you promise someone huckleberry.
  • Not every flavor is in every bin every day. Forty-plus flavors, 18 bins. If your order hinges on one specific flavor, say so on the call.
  • If something shows up wrong, call 605-340-0470 and we'll deal with it like humans.
  • Rally week and December are our two busiest stretches. Both need extra lead time.

Ordering, candy delivery and shipping questions

Do you deliver candy and popcorn nationwide?

Yes — we ship candy and gourmet popcorn to all 50 states from our shop in Spearfish, South Dakota. Orders are placed by phone at 605-340-0470, and popcorn is bagged the day it ships rather than pulled from pre-packed stock. Gift orders include a message and never include an invoice in the box. For a large order, give us about a week's notice, and longer during the holidays.

How do I order if there's no online cart?

Call 605-340-0470 and we'll take the order on the phone — flavors, quantities, ship-to address, date needed and any gift message. It usually takes about three minutes. The advantage over a cart is that we can tell you what came out of the kettle that morning, flag anything seasonal that's out, and handle multi-address gift lists in one conversation. You can also message us on Facebook and we'll call you back.

Is local pickup available in Spearfish?

Yes, and local order-ahead pickup is free with no minimum. Call 605-340-0470, tell us what you want and when you're coming, and we'll have it bagged and waiting at 714 N. Main St. Suite B in downtown Spearfish. Pickup is the best option for large orders, for guaranteeing a specific flavor, or if you're on a tight schedule driving through the northern Black Hills.

How long does popcorn stay fresh after it ships?

Cheddar and savory popcorn is best within about a week, and caramel flavors hold a couple of weeks. Store it sealed at room temperature and never refrigerate it — the fridge adds moisture and turns crisp popcorn chewy. We bag every order the day it ships, so the clock starts when it leaves us, not weeks earlier in a warehouse. Chicago Style is half cheddar, so eat it on the cheddar timeline.

How much notice do you need for a big order?

About a week for large or bulk orders — big tin runs, party boxes for an office, case quantities. During the holidays you need more than that, because November and December fill up fast; if you're planning December corporate gifts, calling in October is reasonable. Custom logo labels, gift tags and ribbon add extra time on top. Call 605-340-0470 and we'll give you a real date.

Will the recipient see the price?

No. We never put an invoice, receipt or price tag in a gift box. The recipient gets the popcorn and your gift message, and that's it. If you're sending to multiple people, we can drop-ship to a whole recipient list and send you one invoice separately. Tell us the message wording when you call 605-340-0470 and we'll write it exactly as you say it.

What does shipping cost and how fast does it arrive?

Shipping cost depends on box size and destination, and transit time depends on the region — call 605-340-0470 and we'll quote both on the spot. What we can promise regardless of the number: your popcorn is bagged the morning it ships, so transit time is the only clock running. If you have a hard delivery date — a birthday, a client meeting, an event — tell us on the call and we'll work backward from it.
